Our Themes

The aim is to improve access, affordability and appropriateness of these products and services to ensure addressing the livelihoods and life-cycle needs of the marginalised groups.

At CMS, in addition to contributing to this theme through studies, research, evaluations, and training etc., we work with our partner, Vrutti, undertaking field implementation to demonstrate and test out models and approaches. Together, we have a good exposure to various forms and models of Community Based Organisations (CBOs) such as Self-Help Groups, Joint Liability Groups, Farmer Producer Organisations such as Cooperatives, Producer Companies, etc., which is critical for an understanding of the financial inclusion theme.
